These are the famous words from Victor Quiroga, director del Teatro Museo de Titeres y Payasos (The Clown and Puppetry Theatre Museum) in Valparaiso, Chile, in reference to being a clown.
Victor has been directing my new show, which we will be premiereing this year!
To earn that hour of fun and play on stage, the clown must spend years, decades, centuries, dreaming, investigating and rehearsing!
And after enjoying that single hour, the lights will come down, and you will return home.
