Yesterday we wrapped up the second Circus Festival in Itagui, Colombia. Over the past week we performed on all types of stages: narrow streets, museums, theatres and parks! All week long we stayed in the wonderful Montaña que Piensa (The Mountain that Thinks), a space built in the mountains of Itagui, equipped with a theatre, artist apartments and free workshops and presentations for the local community. I dictated a week long slack rope workshop for the first time! Hopefully more workshops to come! For now i am staying in the Montaña que Piensa, putting the finishing touches on the new show “Falling In Love” (Spanish title: Fracasate Conmigo), which will be premiered in the III International Theatre Festival in Zarzal, Valle de Cauca, Colombia in late September.
